Day 1
Arrival in the afternoon with accomodation in the hotel of your choice. Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and evening at your disposal.
Day 2: Lake Maggiore and its virtues
The Lake Maggiore Express will offer you an unforgettable trip by train and by boat. You’ll crosss Italy and the Southern part of Switzerland, Ticino. For three hours you’ll travel by boat crossing Lake Maggiore; you’ll admire the Borromee Islands, the castles of Cannero, the islands of Brissago; the fascinating shoreline with picturescque villages and towns. With the railway of the Centovalli and of the Vigezzo Valley, you’ll cross for an hour and a half a wild and romantic territory, with an alternation of daring bridges, streams of pure water and vineyards, chestnut woods and villages perched on slopes.

Lunch on board
Arrival at Locarno at ore 15:15
Return by the Centovalli Train from Locarno to Domodossola, or Stresa, time to be determined; dinner in hotel and overnight stay.
Day 3: Orta and the Novara hills
Arrival of the group at Villa Crespi in Orta. From here we reach the center of the town on a delightful touristic train, to then board on private motorboats to reach the island of San Giulio, where you can visit the millenary Basilica dedicated to Saint Giulio. On the return visit of the village. Luchbreak.
At the end you will proceed on the touristic train to reach the Holy Mount, part of the World Heritage from 2003. Here, besides visiting over 20 chapels dedicated to the life of St. Francis of Assisi, you can enjoy the view of the breathtaking panorama of Lake Orta.
At the conclusion of the visit you’ll return by bus to reach one of the wineries of the area. In fact, this area is famous for the production of fine wines, such as Boca, Gattinara, Ghemme, that owe their names to the towns of production. The cellar will offer a tasting of typical products and wines. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Angera, Medieval pearl
In the morning a guided visit of the Borromeo Rock of Angera, rare example of a fortified medieval building, almost completely preserved. Inside you’ll find the Doll and Toy Museum, one of the most important in Europe. Departure towards the place of origin.
