{"id":6486,"date":"2013-11-19T16:12:23","date_gmt":"2013-11-19T16:12:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/itourriviera.it\/excursion-by-boat-to-the-lerins-islands\/"},"modified":"2024-05-28T09:12:21","modified_gmt":"2024-05-28T09:12:21","slug":"excursion-by-boat-to-the-lerins-islands","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/itourriviera.it\/en\/excursion-by-boat-to-the-lerins-islands\/","title":{"rendered":"Excursion by boat to the Lerins Islands"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>An unforgettable day at sea leaving from the port of San Remo on an excursion by boat to the Lerins Islands in the Bay of Cannes, with the opportunity to see the wonders of the Riviera from the vantage point of the sea: Capo La Mortola, Cap Martin, Monte Carlo, Cap Ferrat, the Bay of Nice, Cap d&#8217;Antibes and the Bay of Nice.<\/h4>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nhttps:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=E5AkBIWkamQ<br \/>\nEXCURSION PROGRAM:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Transfer to the Old Port of San Remo to embark on a rubber dinghy or speed-boat.<\/li>\n<li>Departure towards France, passing Capo Nero, the beach of Ospedaletti, and the beautiful Bay of the Madonna della Ruota, which leads to the spectacular vista of<span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong> Bordighera<\/strong><\/span>, with the upper sections of the town dominating the view.<\/li>\n<li>Passing Ventimiglia you can enjoy one of the most impressive panoramas in Liguria, the <span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>beach<\/strong><\/span> that nestles between the rocks of Calandre and the Balzi Rossi.<\/li>\n<li>We arrive in French territory, following the coast of <span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Menton<\/strong><\/span>, and then the gardens and luxurious villas of Roquebrune <span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Cap Martin<\/strong><\/span>, which leads to the wonderful sight of Monte Carlo.\u00a0 From here we pass <span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Cap Ferrat<\/strong> <\/span>and arrive in the bay of <span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Nice<\/strong><\/span>, alongside the legendary Promenade des Anglais.\u00a0 We continue on to <span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Cap d&#8217;Antibes<\/strong><\/span> , reaching the bay of Cannes.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Lerins Islands<\/span><\/strong><strong>, <span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Saint Marguerite<\/span><\/strong> and <strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Saint Honorat<\/span><\/strong>, are a protected nature park containing many important historic monuments.<\/li>\n<li>The island of<strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> Santa Margherita<\/span><\/strong> has a fortress that was constructed to protect the coast from the invincible Spanish Armada;\u00a0 according to legend the famous Iron Mask was imprisoned here.
