An excursion to Genoa,\u00a0to discover\u00a0the greatness\u00a0of the Maritime Republic,\u00a0with the history\u00a0of the magnificent Baroque Palaces\u00a0and the modern architecture\u00a0of the Porto Antico, once again the vibrant heart\u00a0of the city.<\/h3>\n

*\u00a0Transfer\u00a0from San Remo to Genoa<\/strong> by motorway (140\u00a0km –\u00a01h\u00a030 min approx.).<\/p>\n

*\u00a0Stop at the Porto Antico<\/strong>, fully\u00a0restored according to the plan devised by architect\u00a0Renzo\u00a0Piano on the occasion of the Columbus celebrations\u00a0in 1992.<\/p>\n

*\u00a0Visit to the Aquarium\u00a0of Genoa<\/strong>,\u00a0the largest in Europe,\u00a0where the habitats of the seven\u00a0seas are replicated and where\u00a0the sea creatures can even be touched!<\/p>\n

* Near the Porto Antico,\u00a0 it is also possible to visit\u00a0the Galata Sea Museum<\/strong>, which opened\u00a0in 2004,\u00a0and the splendid\u00a0Palace\u00a0of the Prince<\/strong> Andrea Doria.<\/p>\n

*It’s also very interesting to visit the historic center<\/strong>, with its narrow little lanes, known in Genoese as carrugi<\/strong>, where the Renaissance Cathedral of San Lorenzo<\/strong> can be found.<\/p>\n

*For lovers of art,\u00a0 a stop at the\u00a0opulent Royal and Ducal Palaces<\/strong> is a must, as is a visit to the Museums of Strada Nuova<\/strong>,\u00a0known as the Palazzi dei Rolli<\/strong>, and designated as World Heritage sites by UNESCO.<\/p>\n
