This food tour winds through the lanes of the old town, tasting the flavours of local tradition stop by stop: from sardenaira, Sanremo&#8217;s focaccia topped with tomato, anchovies and olives, to chickpea farinata, and on to extra-virgin olive oil from the Riviera dei Fiori and taggiasca olives.<\/p>\n<p>The route winds through small family-run shops: it begins at a historic bakery for sardenaira and farinata, continues to a delicatessen to learn about the oil and olives, and ends with a tasting of stoccafisso mantecato, the cod-and-potato cream typical of the Riviera dei Fiori hinterland.
